This was a two-level home renovation of a Seattle family’s kitchen and basement.
The kitchen remodel
On the first floor, we removed a dividing wall to give the kitchen an open-concept feel. Then we installed fresh white IKEA cabinets, sleek stainless steel appliances, new hardwood floors, and lighting.
Unique touches, like the turquoise tile backsplash from Fireclay Tile, and built-in shelving (a perfect display for this cookbook library and wine collection), add to the charm of the home.
The basement remodel
Next up: the partially finished basement. What was once a glorified storage space is now a private bedroom with a roomy en-suite bathroom.
